A Brief History of NIME

NIME 01 was held as a CHI workshop in Seattle, April 1 and 2, 2001. There were demos and a concert at the Experience Music Project. Here's a link to online photos of the talks, demos, and concert.

NIME 02 was hosted by the Media Lab Europe in Dublin. Online proceedings with more information about the projects featured above may be found at the NIME 02 web site.

McGill University will host NIME 03 in Spring 2003. Information will be posted at the NIME domain www.nime.org.

Higher resolution versions of the photos on this page may be available on request. I will try to make more photos of NIME 02 publicly available in the future.
